区块链的价值逻辑：Layer 1 解决信任，Layer 2 搞定性能
5 月 16 日，由杭州市金融办指导，巴比特主办的 2019 杭州区块链周•Chainge 技术开放日正式拉开序幕。会议中，来自全国各地的近千名区块链爱好者齐聚一堂，共同探讨最新的区块链技术发展。
Nervos COO 吕国宁（Daniel）在开放日活动中，做了《Nervos CKB 下一代区块链底层基础设施》的主题分享。
Daniel 表示：公链未来的发展只有两个方向，一个是链上扩容，另一个是链外扩容。链上扩容是要做一条更强的链，但不可避免的要在一条链上做权衡和取舍。区块链的核心价值是提供信任，而它的未来一定是分层，需要由不同的层次解决不同的问题，在链上获得信任，通过链外获得更高的性能，最后以整体的方式达到最优的效果。

区块链创业公司Ava Labs正在走出隐形状态，开始向开发人员和用户开放其区块链网络 - 由新的共识算法支持。

Blockchain startup Ava Labs is coming out of stealth and starting to open up its blockchain network — backed by a new consensus algorithm — to developers and users.
Ava is releasing the code to their launch partners, who will be able to comb through it, battle-test it, and play around with it for the first time. The code will not be completely open sourced quite yet, as Ava Labs founder and Cornell professor Emin Gun Sirer told CoinDesk. Once the code has been “scrutinized” further, a public version of the testnet will be opened up for wider use.

Opera will soon be adding native support for the TRON blockchain in its cryptocurrency-focused browser.
Among other things, the new integration will make it possible to natively use TRON-powered dapps and tokens within the browser. Opera will also add support for TRON‘s TRX and other TRC-standard tokens in its built-in cryptocurrency wallet for desktop and mobile (available on both iOS and Android).

On May 7th, Microsoft announced the Azure Blockchain Service, a tool that helps developers and companies create, deploy, and manage blockchain networks. This service, which is currently in public preview, is a continuation of Microsoft’s goal to provide platform-as-a-service tools for blockchain technology.
This explanation came in a session where Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, joined him on stage to highlight Microsoft’s work with the blockchain platform.
To solve their customers’ problems and support these applications on top of Microsoft’s Azure public cloud offering, Microsoft partnered with JP Morgan Chase and their Quorum ledger technology. Quorum is a custom, “enterprise-focused version” of Ethereum which places a focus on permission and governance capabilities as well as throughput improvements.
